“Who said we are going to Yatnal’s house?” Yediyurappa’s sharp response to scribes
Bengaluru: The ongoing rift between former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa, his son BY Vijayendra, and Vijayapura BJP MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal appears more deep than initially believed.
When questioned by a journalist regarding Yatnal’s recent statement, wherein he said that he not interested to meet him and not allow Vijayendra into his house due to alleged withholding of funds for Vijayapura’s development, Yediyurappa responded with sharp dismissal, stating, “Who said we are going to his house?”
This response not only indicates the Yediyurappa family’s displeasure with Yatnal but also suggests frustration with the MLA’s accusations of corruption and nepotism against them. The situation seems to be escalating, unveiling a deeper discord within the political landscape of Karnataka.
Yediyurappa also said that he tried to contact former minister V Somanna, who lamented before Siddaganga seer that he lost election because of party high command.
